Rehabilitation course details
Birmingham City University approved a new course in June 2009 which is a Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Work (Visual Impairment).
The course format is remains similar to the previous method of deliveryof the prevous Diploma qualification, building
on the success of the "blended"
approach to learning taken
for the past five years, enabling
students to study much of the
material in their own area,
and attend block weeks of study
in Birmingham a number of times each
year.
The course is to be delivered in a flexible Foundation Degree format.

Train to become a Rehabilitation Worker
Applications are now being taken for the Rehabilitation Work course starting in September 2010. The fees for this 2-year diploma are to be confirmed, but will be in the region of £2,000 per annum.
Our "blended" model of study makes this course an attractive proposition for those considering qualifying as a rehabilitation worker (visual impairment) but whose lifestyle arrangements does not enable them to move to Birmingham for the 2-year duration of the course.
